However, over the last two centuries, industrialization has dramatically changed the natural environment and people’s traditional social practices surrounding the cultivation of herbs. Challenged with industrial waste released into our air and streams and farmers who use pesticides to ensure bountiful crop yields, herb producers now must confront the presence of heavy metals and chemicals in their crops.

KPC’s top priority is ensuring the safety of our products. Before they have reached your hands, KPC’s products have gone through the TCM industry’s most rigorous testing standards and inspection processes. Our herbs pass multiple tests for heavy metals, pesticide, sulfur dioxide, aflatoxins and aristolochic acid. These tests are integrated throughout our manufacturing process and each batch comes with a certificate of analysis (CoA) verifying their excellence. Our manufacturing plant, KP, sets a golden quality standard for our herbs by selecting the strictest criteria from each of the differing import standards of the US, Singapore, the European Union and Japan.
